Purpose

This report was originally publish in May 1995. Inverness Research conducted a study of the ways in which the Exploratorium served the San Francisco Bay Area as a Regional Science Resource Center for ten years, fulfilling its charge from the State Superintendent of Instruction of California. In particular, this study forcuses on two teacher education programs--the School in the Exploratorium (SITE) program and the Teacher Institute (TI) program which serves middle and high school teachers.

Science Educators, Science Museum Educators, Teachers, School and District Administrators, Reform Leaders, and general public.
